Key features

The mission of the MSc in Design and Innovation Management from Grenoble School of Management is to equip students to:

  • Develop an artistic and emotional sense for detecting trends in society. You’ll learn to identify emerging signals in society using an artistic approach, helping you in staying abreast of developments and anticipating changing needs. (ethnography, design fiction, etc.)
  • Adapt research methods to the business environment. You’ll cultivate the skills to translate research methods specific to design into a management context, enabling the application of design creativity to corporate problem-solving (gamification, design thinking, etc.).
  • Use emotional and sensory methods to create, prototype, and test solutions. You will develop the ability to design, prototype, and test products and services that evoke positive emotions in users, based on sensory approaches (sketchnote, mock-up, 3D, etc.).
  • Explore alternative modes of communication to present your results. You’ll learn to communicate in innovative ways, using unconventional visual, verbal, or physical communication methods to deliver and present your ideas and achievements effectively (dataphysicalization, podcasts, etc.).
